05/05/2016: Guidelines set for eating fish caught in California reservoir

Lexington Reservoir near Los Gatos, California has such high levels of pollutants that state authorities have deemed it necessary to issue guidelines on safe levels for consumption of fish that are caught there, Judy Peterson writes in the Mercury News.

The guidelines are based on mercury and PCB measurements taken from Lexington fish and are for rainbow trout, sunfish, black bass, inland silverside and threadfin shad.
