19/01/2016: Video: Aquaculture contributes 15 percent to Namibia's GDP

Europeans might not think it, but aquaculture contributes 15 percent to Namibia's GDP, according to CNBC Africa.

Rojo van Wyk, Director of Mack Fishing, says most of the industry players are experiencing a boom.

However, Immanuel Petros, President of the Namibia Seafaris says the government needs to make an urgent intervention to arrest the crisis of slavery in the fishing sector.
