11/06/2013: DEEP Indonesia 2013; medicine filled fish; Pharmaq has a new owner

The prestigious DEEP Indonesia International Underwater Photo Competition is part of a unique series hosted by DivePhotoGuide & Wetpixel.

Photographers competed in seven themed categories to win over $40,000 in prizes, including underwater photo equipment and premium dive travel packages to some of the top photo destinations in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

The Bathini family, residents of Hyderabad City, South India, claim they can cure asthma using a home-made remedy, 'Fish Prasadam'.

The treatment involves swallowing small live fish filled with special yellow coloured medicine, made by the family.

At the end of March, the shareholders of Pharmaq entered into an agreement with the Permira funds concerning the sale of all shares of Pharmaq Holding. All conditions in the agreement are now fulfilled and the transaction was completed on the 31st of May 2013.

Pharmaq's management and employees will continue to hold a significant stake in the company.
