Sustainable Blue from tank to chef in 24 hours

Sustainable Blue is a Canadian producer of both exotic and native species, the company uses world leading aquaculture technology, designed in-house, in the operation of land based recirculation fish farms. When the brains behind Sustainable Blue chose Centre Burlington as the site for their one-of-a-kind fish production plant, they moved the technology they developed in England to the rural community with hopes of experiencing commercial success in North America - one of the largest fish markets in the world.

President Jeremy Lee said "the innovative technology used by the company makes it possible to produce fish that typically dwell in warmer climates in a cooler region where it is not uncommon for the thermometer to drop below the freezing point". “It does things that no one else can do,” said Lee, from Sustainable Blue’s Red Bank Road headquarters.
