Mexico brings in new health measures to protect shrimp production

Mexico produces about 150 tons a year of shrimp and in order to protect the production of shrimp in Mexico they are bringing in new measures to establish a mandatory guidelines. The new measures are aimed at people who work in the early reproductive, spawning, incubation, pre-fattening and fattening stages of shrimp farming, to reduce the risk of contaminations of EMB. This virus was first detected in 1992 and spread through Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and India. Read more ...
